Tell us more about Womb Connection, Healing & Awakening?
My offerings and practice involve working with women who are disconnected from their natural cycles, menstrual health, womb energy, fertility and creativity. Through Womb Connection Healing & Awakening I hope to help women in all stages of life to get back into connection with their bodies and into alignment with their inner truth, feminine energy, wisdom and power.
What inspired you to start this journey?
Womb Connection, Healing & Awakening was created from my own personal journey of reclaiming my feminine power and self-love after experiencing trauma in my life that led me into patterns of low self-worth. I was living with fear, with the feeling of less than, feeling it was never enough, which of course fed into relationships of dependence and feelings of abandonment. As I embarked on a journey of healing, I discovered the essence of my feminine power. This is the journey I now guide other women through.
What are the benefits of your approach?
The core of my practice is to connect women with their power and inner wisdom by offering a space for them to step fully into self-inquiry and exploration, taking a journey back into their bodies to reconnect with their innate ability to heal themselves in a space where they can hear the wisdom that rises from within.
This work supports women to release patterns of guilt, shame, lack, abandonment, rage and fear and to get rid of old energy from past lovers. It encourages them to move forward, clearing entangled energies and attracting new, healthy relationships, with clearer decision-making and boundaries. Helping women to heal their trauma and discover their own divine feminine power sparks positive transformations in the way they relate to themselves and their bodies, which in turn is reflected within their relationships. Women find they have increased libido and awakened sexual energy, with a new zest for life.
What normally drives clients to seek your help?
Women who feel stuck in their minds, disconnected from their bodies, lack clarity or are struggling with their feminine cycles gain support from my sessions.
What does a session with you involve?
Shamanic womb healing sessions begin with an intuitive reading held in a relaxed space to share what is present for you within your life and womb space. Then together we work through practices to uncover your hidden inner truth and to clear emotional, physical and sexual traumas.
Practices can include a shamanic ceremony, a drum journey, crystal sounds, healing sounds and womb activation sounds. Sound has been used for thousands of years in various cultures as a tool for healing, a practice that is now recognised by science. I use a variety of attuned tuning forks created by Angie Twydal to aid the clearing of negative emotional and physical blockages within the womb space and feminine gateways to create a clearer energy for body, mind and spirit. We also work with the Womb Medicine Wheel, an elemental wheel within our womb space, to bring balance to our bodies and energy. Sessions can be hands-on or hands-off if this feels more appropriate for you as an individual.
What does womb wisdom mean?
Womb wisdom maintains that the truth held within the body holds the power to set us free. The womb is a deep, intuitive place inside us that knows all we need, and if we can access this place, we can become our own teacher and guide, trusting ourselves to take our own decisions about our lives. Through connection to the wisdom of your womb, you can manifest this magic! The practices of Womb Connection, Healing & Awakening support you in realigning your sacred energy centre into perfect balance for you.
Tell us about your typical day before 9am?
Each day is varied depending on where I am in the world, as I travel with my teachings. I usually wake around 7am and take some moments to come into my body with my breath and tune into my dreams. After this my morning begins with lemon water to hydrate and cleanse and then I either take some stretches and meditations, a yoga practice or free movement, or a walk in the park or local nature.
I love spending time outside surrounded by the wisdom of trees – this is something that sets me up for my day, especially one with clients as I tune into their energy before each session. I am blessed to live close to some beautiful nature spots and always seem to find amazing places on my travels.
After my morning connection and practice time, I enjoy a nice tea or matcha latte and begin my day by sharing the insights that came through to me with my community on social media
How do you look after your own wellbeing?
My own personal practices of connection and healing include:
Lots of time in nature
Clean water and food
Time with close friends who share similar interests to myself
I also love to visit new places and take time to be around different people, which
feeds my soul. I love to meet people and take time to understand them.
What mantra do you live by?
I am me
I am free
And I live my life with joy
